There are so many different artists that contributed in Humanities during time. They all had different ideas with how to contribute and change humanities. Fashion designers are one of the most artist that contributed in hummanities. Fashion designers help create the billions of dresses, suits, shoes, and other clothing and accessories purchased every year for people. Designers study fashion trends, sketch designs of clothing and accessories. They select the color, fabric and scrutinize the final production of their designs. Most of the designers have a strong sense of the esthetic: an eye for color and detail, a sense of balance and proportion, and an appreciation for beauty.
Fashion is something we deal with everyday, even people who say they don't care what they wear choose clothes every morning that say a lot about them and how they feel that day.
Clothes fashion have changed a lot as the time past by. Back in those times people's clothes were more traditional and now more modern. People didn't even know what was fashion in those times because they didn't have that many clothes to wear like we do now. Clothes separate people into different groups because a poor person don't have the same amount of clothes then a rich person does. Many designers have different ideas of designing their clothes. Girls didn't wear shorts or mini skirts because they would maybe get arrested.

Musicians and other cultural icons have always influenced what we're wearing because they get the newest design, and because they are famouse, people think that if they buy same clothes design as them it would make them feel more special.
Wow, fashion is a really big part of humanities, as we deal with it everyday of our lives! Fashion is something that is constantly changing because of a change of style or as you said, that people are inspired by celebrities and musicians.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. Although I don't think girls get arrested for wearing mini-skirts. I agree with the part about the clothing representing the person. I myself don't really pick clothing based on what I'm feeling, I pick pick clothing to represent me, more-or-less. I also just pick whatever remotley looks OK since I'm too sleepy in the morning to decide. What I never really understood was why people would want to dress like a celebrity. I feel that it defeats the purpose of showing the inner "you".
ReplyDeleteI think fashion says a lot about a person. Even tho you should not judge a book by its cover I believe if someone has no taste in fashion thats theres something wrong with them. I cannot stand to be next to someone who does not know the difference between one clothing line another. I know many people cannot afford good clothing, but there are trift stores and other cheap stores with cool clothes. I know I would never be able to date a guy with no taste in clothing.
